The 2014 Montana State SHRM Conference is an annual event that brings together professionals, executives, scholars, and senior practitioners from the field of Human Resources. The conference provides an opportunity to learn and discuss a multitude of HR topics and issues that currently impact managers, leaders and the workforce. It will also provide a place where HR leaders and business entrepreneurs can meet new colleagues, share ideas and learn from the real-world experiences of experts, practitioners and solutions providers.
The conference aims to become the leading annual conference for Montana HR and business professionals. Our goal is to offer knowledgeable, dynamic speakers and to foster a learning environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. This conference will also provide an ideal environment to develop new collaborations and meet experts on the fundamentals, applications, and products available as HR resources.
The conference will feature experts on a wide variety of HR related topics such as: management execution, leadership, communication, workplace investigations, stereotyping and social media. Also, a panel of experts will offer information and provide a venue for dialogue on the following: Human Rights, safety and health, wage and hour, and worker’s compensation.
The conference will feature a variety of formats, including paper and poster presentations, symposia, discussion sessions and plenary speakers.
The conference theme is “Reaching the Summit” and will be held May 7-9, 2014, in Bozeman, Montana, at the Best Western Gran Tree Inn. TheThursday night social, hosted by the Bozeman SHRM Chapter, features special guest and world renowned climber Conrad Anker!
Registration for the conference is open now and the early-bird registration special is in effect until April 15, 2014.
